Promoting bus travel to young people

Diva is the UK’s leading sustainable transport marketing agency, having worked to promote sustainable transport and active travel for over 15 years across the UK. Over the past two years we have delivered a number of campaigns around increasing bus patronage, targeting families, young people, commuters and the general public.

As with all our work we take a behavioural approach, exploring the barriers to using public transport as well as the opportunities to engage audiences and encourage them to choose bus, train, cycling or walking. This campaign was delivered in Derbyshire and got some fantastic results for a young person friendly ticketing offer that wasn’t getting the take up it deserved, especially when it came to young people using it outside of travel to school or travel. The results were so strong that the campaign has continued to run with continuing positive results.
