The Digital Services Manager will be part of Diva’s senior management team.
They will be an experienced manager with proven project management and line management experience in the delivery of digital services, covering website development, app development, social media channels, game development and digital marketing. They will also have line management experience and be looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a busy full-service marketing agency.
Ideally, they will have an excellent understanding of the dynamic digital communications environment, with experience of the development of content strategy, the role of SEO and the importance of the user journey in respect of website design and development.
The Digital Services Manager will be responsible for managing Diva’s in-house digital team of developers, working with colleagues in the management team, creative team and account management team. They will also have vision and the ability to look strategically at how the digital services team can develop and grow, contributing directly to the success of the business as a whole.
As the Digital Services Manager, they will have proven experience of client relationship management and will have responsibility for a number of high-profile client accounts, in addition to supporting the workflow, quality control and pastoral needs of the Digital Services team. As a senior manager, they will be responsible for budget management in respect of digital projects, resource management and workflow management. This will include forward planning, recruitment, outsourcing to external suppliers and working closely with other members of the management team.
They will also be responsible for overall budget management and income tracking for the Digital Services team, including meeting income and profit targets (supported and working with the Business Development team), and measuring productivity and profitability for the Digital Services team as a whole.
The successful candidate will recognise the opportunities that exist for Diva to develop its digital offer both by supporting the integration of digital marketing and social media marketing across the company offer and developing the discrete digital service delivered by the in-house team of developers and digital designers.
They will also be responsible for supporting the acquisition of new business in digital services, including seeking out new opportunities in the public and corporate sectors, supporting tenders, undertaking scoping and budgets for potential work and seeking out new markets.
The Digital Services Manager is line managed by the Director(s).

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject. Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.
