Care4Air

Care4Air is the campaign designed by diva to highlight the full local authority air quality action plans across South Yorkshire. The campaign with its distinctive brand uses a multi-channel approach to deliver key messages to a segmented target audience.

An ongoing pr campaign ensures regular messages about car sharing, travel plans, energy saving and the impact of air quality action plans are distributed across press and broadcast media.

The diva developed national award winning website www.care4air.org presents news and information, has areas where individuals can contribute, and latest developments. The website has won awards two years in a row, chosen from nearly 500 specialist websites by Air Quality Management Magazine.

Regular events enhance the campaign. These include events to recognise Care4Air champions in schools, community members and private and public sector organisations, events to engage local businesses and employers is using travel plans, electric fleet vehicles and endorse car sharing, as well as large international conferences for delegates from the air quality sector.

Celebrity endorsement of clean air messages has been effectively used throughout the campaign. The endorsement has been broadcast through local media, public access kiosks and on large video screens at Meadowhall Shopping Centre. Video and multimedia has also been used to create innovative new vehicles for campaign messages, including a podcast to encourage people to eco-drive.

A suite of printed materials that include Frisbees, postcards, leaflets, large format billboards, and balloons amongst other things are regularly produced and re-visited to ensure the campaign is using the most appropriate ways to get the message across.
