SOCIAL MARKETING APPROACH HELPS DIVA EXPAND ITS EDUCATION AND LEARNING EVENTS PORTFOLIO
Following on from the success of a number of events in the education and learning sector, award winning agency diva creative have added events for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, Aimhigher South Yorkshire and Nord Anglia to their extensive portfolio.
diva has a long history of providing highly successful events management services for Aimhigher South Yorkshire, and has worked with the higher education and widening participation project for several years. diva specialises in taking a social marketing approach to events management, which places an emphasis on positive lifestyle outcomes to encourage a change in behaviour. This year, diva will be managing a series of events and conferences aimed at both educational leaders and learners on a range of issues and subjects, including: Continuing Professional Development (CPD), Vocational Progression to Higher Education, and Inclusivity.
In association with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council, diva will manage a national event showcasing the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in raising educational attainment, featuring: presentations and workshops from internationally renowned experts in the field of e-learning; interactive exhibition stands; and practical examples of how e-learning technology is already in use in Rotherham.
Diva will also be providing a series of Further and Higher Education careers fairs and roadshows targeting year 11 students, to provide information and advice on future learning and career options, on behalf of Nord Anglia Lifetime Development.

Diva’s events services have recently taken steps to enable them to offer fully sustainable events to clients, a reflection of diva’s own commitment to more environmentally friendly practices. The sustainable events service includes recycling materials, reducing waste and using products from sustainable sources.
