CARE4AIR RETAINS DIVA CREATIVE
Multi-award winning, South Yorkshire air quality campaign Care4Air has retained marketing and communications agency diva creative to continue raising awareness of air quality issues in South Yorkshire.
diva, who specialise in employing a social marketing approach to their communication strategies, beat off competition to continue delivering a full communications support package for Care4Air, a partnership between the four South Yorkshire local authorities and Travel South Yorkshire, for the next three years.
Under the guidance of diva, since its inception in 2003, the Care4Air campaign has gone from strength to strength, winning awards for the website from respected industry publication ‘Air Quality Management Magazine’ for three consecutive years. Care4Air and diva were also instrumental in securing Beacon Status for Sheffield City Council around their air quality work, and are recognised as Beacon Partners. Recently, diva also helped Care4Air secure new funding from the South Yorkshire Local Transport Plan.
Mark Daly, Spokesperson for Care4Air said: “I am delighted to be working with diva again. diva have played an important role in developing the campaign. Traditionally communication around improving air quality is focused upon monitoring and measuring. Working with diva, Care4Air has evolved into a highly innovative approach to campaigning a range of varied but very technical issues in a highly engaging way.
“The website awards, the Beacon Status, and the fact that in the short space of three years the Care4Air brand has become well recognised and respected across South Yorkshire, shows that diva are able to deliver an excellent and effective communications package for us. I look forward to working with them over the coming three years, keeping South Yorkshire ahead of the game and air quality issues at the forefront of the region’s thinking.”
Amanda Pearce, director of diva creative, added: “It is fantastic that we have been chosen to continue our work on Care4Air. We have seen the campaign go from strength to strength and we look forward to continuing with our creativity in making quite complex air quality issues accessible to the average member of the public in South Yorkshire.”
