CITY ON INTERNET STAGE FOR ENVIRONMENT
Full service marketing and communications agency diva creative has successfully provided events organisation services for two international environmental conferences held in Sheffield recently in the same week, reinforcing Sheffield’s position as a green city.
The ‘Making Places Profitable – Creating a Setting for Investment’ event for the South Yorkshire Forest Partnership, saw the diva events team coordinating a two day event for over 200 delegates.
The ‘Clearer Future 2006’ conference for South Yorkshire air quality campaign Care4Air ran for the second year running. The one-day conference was organised by diva and attracted over 80 delegates from across the world, who visited South Yorkshire to look at examples of best practice in the air quality field from the UK and abroad.
diva Director Amanda Pearce said: “When organising events in the city, we are always aware of how important it is to give visitors a positive impression of Sheffield. As the city increasingly positions itself as a key player in the environmental sector we hope that diva will have more opportunities to showcase the city.”
Tom Wild, Project Manager for the Creating a Setting for Investment programme at the South Yorkshire Forest Partnership said: “diva are professional, passionate and constantly surpass expectations, and so they were the only choice to organise our international event.”
The international environmental conferences have been part of a challenging and exciting year for the diva events team, as 2006 has seen them organise and manage a record number of events.
