Client: South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE)

 

Brief: To provide specialist strategic support to SYPTE’s Marketing and Communication Team to develop a three-year Marketing and Communication Strategy, alongside a robust Business Case and a detailed one year Marketing and Communication Plan.

What we did:

  • We worked closely with SYPTE’s Marketing and Communication Team to embed behaviour change principles and techniques into the development of their three-year Marketing and Communication Strategy.
  • Working alongside SYPTE we undertook a detailed Marketing Audit and qualitative research with focus groups. This informed the development of the Business Case and Strategy.
  • Sustainable travel objectives were addressed with a focus on active travel and public transport. A practical travel segmentation model was also developed to ensure a targeted communications approach focused on tangible journey choices.

Value: Our knowledge of behaviour change theories, techniques and practical applications has helped SYPTE develop a robust Marketing and Communication Strategy and Marketing Plan that positions them well to deliver on the governments sustainable travel agenda.
