Brief: To raise awareness of the risks associated with BB gun and knife carrying with young people.

What we did: ‘Game Over’ – Guns and Knives Take Lives. DVD and mobile phone ads placed on YouTube and associated social media as well as delivered in formal and informal learning environments.

Value: ‘Game Over’ has been widely recognized as an innovative and highly engaging communication tool. Over 2500 YouTube downloads were achieved over a three month period, with an average rating of 4 out of five. South Yorkshire Police have disseminated the project as best practice and it is now being used by police forces across the UK and in Australia, Malaysia, The United States (New Jersey, New York and Los Angeles) as a training tool.
