Diva has been shortlisted for a UK Social Media Communications Award.
Our work with the Rail Delivery Group to promote the PlusBike tool on the National Rail Enquiries website is nominated in the Best Strategic Use of Social Media category.
The campaign is shortlisted alongside seven projects from the likes of the Economist, the FA, Nisa, TalkTalk and Iceland.
Diva used Facebook Canvas advertising to engage a wide audience, with unique views of the PlusBike webpage increasing by more than 500% as a result.
Visitors also spent an extra two and a half minutes on the page on average, while over 100 public comments were left on social media – many of which were from people recommending the PlusBike tool to their cyclist friends.
Mark Vincent, Digital Strategy Manager at Diva Creative, said: “We tapped into the flexibility of Facebook Canvas to create something the audience actually wanted to explore.
“Our creative used interactive tilt-to-pan imagery and a video to explain PlusBike’s offer in an interesting, novel way.
“Making the tool’s benefits clear and showing viewers how to use it have helped to raise more awareness about PlusBike, which is only one of many features on the National Rail Enquiries site.”
The 2017 UK Social Media Communications Awards will be presented in London on 18 October.
