Diva has won the Best Small Integrated Agency gong at the Prolific North Awards.
We were presented with the award, which was open to companies with up to 29 employees, at a ceremony at Old Trafford Cricket Ground last night.
Diva had been up against seven other shortlisted firms selected by representatives from Google, Microsoft, the BBC and ITN, and was one of only two nominees from Yorkshire.
Our winning award entry highlighted how we have grown and diversified by identifying areas of growth to secure market share and establish a leading position in key sectors, such as transport communications.
Moving into sustainable transport and air quality marketing has allowed Diva to almost double in size in just a few years – despite national economic challenges and the budget cuts faced by many of our public sector clients.
We have also been successful in winning several major contracts with global consultancies like AECOM, WYG, WSP and Mott MacDonald, generating further sources of business.
The Small Integrated Agency award is our third in 2016 so far, in addition to being shortlisted in the Communicating Sustainability category of the national Guardian Sustainable Business Awards.
The Big Bike Revival, a campaign developed by Diva and Cycling UK (formerly known as CTC), proved particularly popular with judging panels – winning Best Smarter Travel Marketing Campaign at the Smarter Travel Awards and Best Digital Marketing Campaign in the Public Sector at the Northern Digital Awards so far in 2016.
Amanda Pearce, Director at Diva Creative, said: “To be named the best small integrated agency in the north of England is a great reflection of the quality and variety of our work.
“Diva has grown extensively over the last few years – so much so that we now only just qualify for the ‘small’ category of this award – and we are working on high-impact campaigns across a number of different sectors.
“I am very proud of our fantastic team and sure we will be celebrating yet more awards in the months to come.”
