Workstation-based creative company diva creative have been commissioned by Sheffield’s most prestigious nightclub and live music venue to develop a new brand identity.
The Leadmill approached diva creative and set them the task of developing and creating a new brand that all their customers could identify with. diva creative set to work to design and develop a new look that would incorporate The Leadmill’s 27 year history and also ensure that it would be instantly recognisable.
Creative Director, Shirley Harris, said: “Developing and designing a new brand identity and logo for The Leadmill has not been an easy task. We had to ensure that we still kept the essence of what people love about this landmark nightclub, as this is something that’s recognised nationally, but we also had to ensure that what we developed was fresh and new.
“We feel that with the new logo and brand we have achieved the perfect balance, whilst still retaining the musical culture of the city, which is synonymous with producing artists such as Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Reverend and the Makers and Milburn.”
Rupert Dell, Head of Programming at The Leadmill, said: “We approached diva to design our new brand and logo as we felt that they could provide us with the type of brand we were looking for their illustrations and design work is contemporary and funky! We are delighted with the new logo and our customers will be seeing this in the coming months.”
